Republicans of the House Judiciary Committee drafted a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein Thursday, asking them to appoint a second special counsel to investigate the 2016 elections. Unlike the current special counsel assigned to investigate matters surrounding the election, Robert Mueller, the letter calls for an investigation into the actions taken by previously public figures like Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Director James Comey, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The letter comes on the heels of a Thursday announcement that the committee has approved an investigation of its own into these figures. That investigation is slated to include a probe into ex-Director Comeys leaking of his conversations with President Donald Trump through friend and law professor Daniel Richmond and alleged improprieties in former Attorney General Lynchs handling of the investigation into then-presidential candidate Hillary Clintons private email server. It was Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, one of the letters addressees, who made the initial appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate Russian interference after Sessions recused himself from oversight of the probe.

Notice the difference in the way Democrat operatives act when being investigated versus how Republicans do. Republicans not named Michael Flynn request to be questioned under oath, and offer testimony freely. If the Democrats fear that their testimony will not advance their agenda, they block the testimony from ever being given.
Democrats refuse to be questioned and their own politicians block them from being investigated through procedural rules. When they do finally end up on the hot seat, they plead the Fifth or they “Do The Hillary.” That’s a dance where the person keeps repeating the words, “I do not recall. I do not recall.”
They already did this.
This is why the MSM and the Democrats have gone silent on the Russia story. In concert, it dropped off the all the Deep State media sites and broadcasts late last week. They know there is not just smoke but fire if a second Special Counsel gets in the act.
Pay close attention to the media this week. The Dems are scared to death this will kill their 2018 election chances.
Add in investigation the collusion among. Comey, Mueller and RosenKrantz and you’re on.
Sessions damned well had better not recuse himself THIS time. And he had better appoint a BULLDOG SPECIAL PROSECUTOR — a prosecutor who will be every bit as partisan on the right as Mueller is on the left.
Mueller has IMAGINARY SMOKE to be found; let this Special Prosecutor have ACTUAL FIRE to be found!
The fertilizer is about to impact the rotary oscillator....
I want IRS being used as a political weapon to be addressed...or it will happen again.
Do not let us down Jeff, do not let us down.
I’m sure they’re threatining Jeff Sessions and his family in all ways imaginable. Prayers up!
Don’t expect to get a positive answer from Rosenschmuck.
“The fertilizer is about to impact the rotary oscillator....”
“A simple machine of the inclined plane type consisting of a spirally grooved solid cylinder and a correspondingly grooved hollow cylinder into which it fits.”
Or in plain old English, “Rut Roh Scooby”
How about a special counsel to investigate Muller’s conflict of interests, and his every move.
“Add in investigation the collusion among. Comey, Mueller and RosenKrantz and youre on.”
Needs repeating.

July 27, 2017Source: https://gaetz.house.gov/media/press-releases/gaetz-amendment-passes-committee-requests-information-about-clinton-and-comeyPress ReleaseWASHINGTON, DC: On Wednesday, July 26, Congressman Matt Gaetz brought an amendment before the House Judiciary Committee, seeking answers to questions that have weighed heavily on the minds of American voters. In his amendment, which passed the House Judiciary Committee and has been reported favorably to the House, Rep. Gaetz requested documents and information from President Trump and Attorney General Sessions surrounding the firing of former FBI Director James B. Comey, and Mr. Comeys knowledge of, and connection to, the many worrisome scandals of the previous administration.
Rep. Gaetzs amendment requires information concerning former Attorney General Loretta Lynchs infamous and improper tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton, which took place while Hillary Clinton was under investigation. It also requests information about:
- Ms. Lynchs controversial demand that Mr. Comey mislead the public by calling the Clinton investigation a matter;
- Leaks of classified correspondence from Mr. Comey to the press, in the hopes of starting a special counsel headed by Mr. Comeys longtime friend, Robert Mueller;
- The ethically dubious and potentially criminal pay-for-play connections between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department;
- Hillary Clintons worrisome decision to sell American uranium reserves to Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation, and whether that sale endangered national security;
- Mr. Comeys improper decision to usurp the authority of the Attorney General, by announcing that no charges would be brought against Hillary Clinton for her highly dangerous use of a private email server;
- Mr. Comeys hasty and ill-conceived decision to pre-emptively pardon Hillary Clintons IT staff, despite their active destruction of documents requested by a subpoena;
- Mr. Comeys knowledge of the company Fusion GPS, and their creation of a falsehood-ridden dossier about then-candidate Donald Trump, and the connections between Fusion GPS and foreign intelligence agencies; and
- The role of Mr. Comey and former National Security Adviser Ms. Susan Rice in unmasking people involved with then-candidate Donald Trumps campaign, and the subsequent widespread dissemination of that information to intelligence agencies.
When asked about his amendment, Congressman Gaetz said: The American people deserve answers. The Obama-Clinton scandals should not be forgotten or forgiven just because Hillary Clinton lost the election. The rule of law still matters. It is past time to appoint a special counsel to investigate the real crimes and the real criminals. As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, I will continue to call for justice and robust oversight.
