Leaking classified info is a crime.
From what I understand, classified information is officially handled exclusively by the executive branch, and the legislative/judicial branches have what amounts to handshake agreements to handle classified information as part of their oversight or legal requirements. They can lose access to classified info for leaking, but it is hard to prosecute since congress would have to write a law that would expose itself to punishment just for leaking. Now sedition... That might have some legs.
