Top McMaster Ally Bill Kristol Plotting to Primary, Oust Trump: Must ‘Take One Shot’
Breitbart ^ | 08/05/17 | Tony Lee

Bill Kristol, a prominent “Never Trumper” and one of national security adviser H.R. McMaster’s fiercest defenders and allies, is reportedly scheming to primary or oust President Donald Trump so Republicans do not renominate him in 2020.

According to a New York Times report, Kristol “said he had begun informal conversations about creating a ‘Committee Not to Renominate the President.'”

“We need to take one shot at liberating the Republican Party from Trump, and conservatism from Trumpism,” Kristol told the liberal Times reporters.

On Twitter, Kristol, the limelight-seeking saboteur, seemed proud that he was again quoted in a legacy media paper, tweeting out the article and saying the “task in 2020” is to oust Trump. He even suggested Never Trumpers should rebrand themselves as “liberals.”

Seeing what little relevance he had was slipping away during the 2016 election cycle, Kristol spent most of the cycle trying to undermine Trump and get Hillary Clinton elected. He attempted to draft National Review’s David French to be his “Never Trump” candidate. Like a failed Triple-A manager desperately trying to find even a high school team to allow him to coach, Kristol then worked with Rick “Put a Bullet in Trump” Wilson to draft an even more uninspiring and milquetoast candidate in Evan McMullin.

McMullin, aided by supposedly the smartest tacticians and pundits in the world who think they are oh-so-brilliant every day on Twitter, ran an embarrassing campaign that did not even resonate with voters in Utah. As of May of 2017, McMullin’s failed campaign that was used as a vehicle for operatives to get paychecks and “Never Trump” pundits to get quoted in legacy media outlets and make television appearances, was nearly a whopping $700,000 in debt to the career political professionals whom Trump’s success as a candidate threatened to put of business...

“We need to take one shot at liberating the Republican Party from Trump, and conservatism from Trumpism,” Kristol told the liberal Times reporters.

Since Kristol is a clinton shill, is there any way to liberate the Republican Party from him.

Hugh Hewitt gives Kristol a frequent forum. This penchant makes Hewitt far worse that insipid.

Kristol is certifiably insane. Really.

If they would get any Republican nominee apart from Trump, he/she would just lose spectacularly to the Dem candidate, whoever he/she might be.

Trump is indeed living up to his slogan, he is trying to Make America Great Again. And he needs and deserves our support.

Kristol is the kind of guy who makes hate & loathing seem okay, maybe.

More people of his type should be speaking out against him.

Hopefully they do run.

Amy candidate put up by the RINOs who control the GOP “leadership” positions would have such a bad campaign they would make Jeb! Look like Reagan 84.

Kristol only wants to pull away enough votes to ensure a fellow Democrat globalist will enter the White House in January 2021. He doesn’t care about the GOP. It’s the Deep State whom his loyalty belongs to. Kristol is a bigger skunk than any Democrat in my book.

With all we know about McMaster can someone explain why in the hell he is still there? Just another one on the list of who should have been bounced months ago. These are people destroying Trump day by day but no sign of them going anywhere.

There are many interesting terms of contempt for Kristol to be found on this thread.

Most populist/fundamentalist people in the modern GOP hate Kristol because he is a socially liberal Jew who supports women's choice, homo marriage, and comprehensive immigration reform.

My best advise to the President is,Stop worrying about what they want to do to you and start thinking about what you want to do to them.
The life of the republic is on the line here and now.

"We need to take one shot at liberating the Republican Party from Trump, and conservatism from Trumpism," Kristol told the liberal Times reporters.

Too late, @sshole. I liberated myself from the Republican Party years ago. That's why I supported Donald Trump in the first place.

He beat down every loser this guy and his lackeys put up there as a candidate in 2016, which wasn't too difficult because none of them were going to win in November anyway.

Bill Kristol is actually part of the movement known rather derisively by real conservatives as “neo-conservative”, people who came late in life to the conservative movement, and think they can”improve” conservatism by making it into a statist, big-government party.

Definitely a branch of the Uniparty. Separate and apart from what are commonly known as “RINOs”, which are only thinly disguised moderate Democrats, and years back, would have been known as “blue-dog” Democrats.

Kritol is a Neocon, not a Conservative.

If McMaster thinks Kristol is his friend as much as Kristol thinks he is McMaster’s friend, then Trump does have a problem.

Can the neocons just go back to being Trotskyists, if they ever truly left it in the first place?

Kristol, before you oust Trump, go to Iraq and finish the job you started, you neocon POS. Pick up a gun and go fight. Preferably, go over there and die.
