He defined a generation, the one before music went rotten.

Goodbye Glen. Thank you for the fine performances through the years. Go forward into God’s embrace. Glen’s condition lasted a few years, long enough, of course, but sometimes this ordeal can last far longer.

Yes, You’re correct. My mom passed away from Alzheimers. She had sung in Operetta’s as a young girl, and she could still sing a lot of songs, even up to the very end.
I’m so glad Glenn didn’t stop singing. It was a way to soothe his mind; it must have given him a lot of peace.

Never was a fan of his songs but boy howdy could that guy play some guitar...absolutely loved to see him just play.
Sorry to see Glen go, RIP guitar guy.
If you like Glen, go to YouTube and look up Roy Clark, one of the videos is of him and Glen doing Ghost Riders as an instrumental, a must see for fans of both.

May you now rest gentle on my mind.
One of the best overall musicians ever IMO when all taken into account.

Country music crossed over into popular music because of Glen.

From what I was told, he couldn’t read music. But he sure could play it.
