This is not a gay issue, it’s a molestation issue. Been there, done that. Molesters can be married to women and go on to molest and groom boys or girls. There apparently aren’t enough ways to prevent these things. Keep children out of situations where they will be alone with any adult. Hard to achieve. The best molester is one who is a pillar of society. No one believes they are doing what they are doing. Most FReepers didn’t think Bill Cosby was guilty at first, either.
This is very much a “gay issue”; it involved a perp raping somebody of the same sex. It is a gay issue within the Catholic Church, and it is a gay issue within the Boy
Scouts; avoiding that terms is just glossing over the illness of homosexuals.
If the victims were female I’d concede its a molestation issue.
