While 25 or so nukes would be devastating, it would be nothing like the result of the AT LEAST 1,000 warheads that would hit China in the first 40 minutes.

And that is part of China’s calculus when they ponder direct confrontation with the US.

We tested a Minuteman III last week from Vandenberg AFB. It performed flawlessly.
We tested a Trident D5 last month, the 188th consecutive flawless test.

1. China will not accept our troops in N Korea.
2. They will also be settling all the issues with other allies in the region starting with Tiawan and Japan.
3. They have no problem with sacrificing half of their population.
4. They have an amazing number of military age men with no chance of a wife.
5. They have big goals and kicking our ass is certainly one.

I agree with 2-5. But we are not going to invade NK. We don’t have the capacity to do that and it would be a stupid move, anyway.
Right now China is on the verge of war with India.
That would either really work or completely ruin our economy. But we may be approaching the point where nothing else is gonna work. I sure don’t relish the thought of a nuke war with the ChiCommies. They are usually quite content to spy and steal unless you’re right on their yard...but if you poke the dragon in the butt God help you. And God help you twice over if you throw rocks at the dragon’s nest.
Not if I can avoid it. Even if it cost more to buy American made, I would rather give jobs to American Vets than to foreigners.
My take is our problem is China. My vote call it what it is and do what we have to for an acceptable outcome. This time nuke the commies coming over the mountains. Best to settle these accounts, all of them, sooner rather than later.
