It is bizarre. It isn’t a bad selection of articles - but there is absolutely zero original content on the site. Not even a summary.

Apparently many have forgotten who Drudge was and what he did.

He did for internet news what Rush Limbaugh did for radio. He singlehandedly blew open the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, and for the first time for many of us gave us a way to find stories that weren’t slanted. By taking the conservative items out of stories where the headlines often buried the good news for conservatives or bad news for libs, he liberated a lot of Americans.

Recently he has drifted leftward due to his running battle with Breitbart, but Drudge was a hero in the 1990s to those of us wanting real news without the slant.

I have been following Drudge's site from the very start. I vividly recall his role regarding Clinton & Lewinsky. But that was 20+ years ago & he has been riding that reputation & accomplishment for 20+ years while doing absolutely nothing since except being a news aggregator.

Literally anyone can do what he does. It is not difficult in the least to provide links to others' work.

Drudge is Drudge. We both got Packard Bell’s in 1994. Except my father didn’t buy me one. I bought it myself (my first computer was an IBM PS/1 in 1991). The Drudge Report was one of the very first websites I bookmarked. His page has always been worth checking out, except it does lean towards the tabloid.
