The recently confirmed secretary of the Navy says he will follow any order the president gives on transgender troops, but that “any patriot” should be allowed to serve.
“We will process and take direction of a policy that is developed by the [Defense] secretary [with] direction from the president and march out smartly,” Navy Secretary Richard V. Spencer told reporters Thursday night after visiting Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia.
"On a fundamental basis, any patriot that wants to serve and meets all the requirements should be able to serve in our military"
Spencer was confirmed a week after President Trump tweeted that he plans to ban transgender people from serving in the military.

That’s the key, isn’t it??
A diabetic cannot serve as he/she needs medication in order to serve. An asthmatic cannot serve because he/she needs medication. A transgender cannot serve as he/she cannot serve because they must have medication to keep up heir appearances.
This A.H. is playing word games and double speak. Sure a patriot can be broadly defined,like my dog dressed in red,white and blue, but this imbecile Navy Secretary is pretty much saying F.U. to the CIC concerning a VERY specific directive.
Unless you are too old...then you are not wanted.

Patriots come in all sizes, shapes, levels of intelligence, sanity, physical condition, physical health, degrees of resentment of authority, vision, etc. Open the floodgates, let ‘em all in. How to prove they’re patriots? Just say so.

Think about this. If we were in a major fighting war and the draft was on, these same liberals would be screaming and hollering if we were pulling these people into the draft.
Would a patriot demand more money for surgeries that could pay for weapons or the regular pay of soldiers?
So when every Western military is weakened by political correctness and filled with a good number of women who can’t physically fight effectively, gays who are resentful and distracting, disabled, money draining transgendered, then the Arab and Asian armies will be much stronger.
This is true in business too. It's how Target got snookered with the bathrooms. A good rule of thumb (with very few notable exceptions) is, if you do not want people who support the extremist position du jour do not appoint people who have spent a large period of time in:
1.) San Francisco Bay MSA
2.) Los Angeles MSA
3.) Minneapolis/St. Paul MSA
4.) Chicago MSA
5.) D.C./Baltimore/Philadelphia/New York/Boston Axis Of Evil.
According to that proclamation, someone who identifies as a patriot but tends to fire their gun in all directions should be allowed to serve, despite the fact that their tendency will hurt others who are serving.
How much idle time are we supposed to pay for while the shim gets over the cutting and fixing? What happens to the shims miitary unit redyness while it is unable to perform it's duties?
Honestly, I’m more upset about the subversiveness of this asshole and his lack of caring for the stability of his organization and his total disrespect for his boss who hired him. The topic is secondary to me.
You don’t get promoted to a high position, immediately and very publicly contradict your boss, create an unnecessary shitstorm for your organization, and then expect to keep your job, do you? Well, FU if you do.
You handle disagreements internally. Plus, since this is a military structure, I would assume this is easily considered insubordination. Fire his ass for causing unnecessary problems to everyone around him, independent of the content of the instigating factor.
