Purging the monuments,statues, school and street names, is very disheartening. I don’t think it helps the reasoned arguments to keep them when people in white hoods show up. It makes our case all the more difficult to to be heard.

There is no case to be heard. Reasoned arguments are a sentimental diversion whose time has passed. Leftists mean to exterminate their opponents, not listen to them.
These conflicts will be settled by violence. The Leftists are very good at violence and they control all of the key institutions of our society - for now. That includes the police and military needed to shut down any "right-wing" protestors.
They have made it perfectly clear that they will never peacefully relinquish their positions of power, and will not tolerate any people who object to their unlimited impositions.
This creates a very predictable and ugly counter-reaction. It is inevitable and there is no use apologizing for it. Planning for the aftermath would be good.
When there is a leadership vacuum as we have had in this nation for far too long, disparate groups will seek to fill it. When one group finally is puished to its limit and chooses to respond, I can’t see how some other group can be stoppped from jumping on to the end of the parade without full on clashes.
This is not unusual. The book (NOT the movie) “Is Paris Burning” will give you much insight as to how these things play out. It is NOT pretty.
To be heard by whom? What do you think will change anyone’s mind?
