There are some stories around town about how he actually made it through college - no actual evidence.

I never did like the guy. Always was something off about him to me; he definitely went off the rails when he got connected with this woman.

Whether it was Fake News? I read here on FR last week that Krappernick had been offered a job with an NFL team and turned it down. Maybe he’ll play the martyr for a while. I think he WANTS to go to Ballmer and agitate the Freddie Gray fiasco.

I think the fans may have put the kiboosh(SP) on that B-more possibility.

F him, F her, F the NFL and F ESPN. I hope they all go broke.

Couldn't have said that better myself.

I barely watched the NFL last year and that was only when the Green Bay Packers game was on (I live in the Chicago media market...) which wasn't very often. I listened to the Super Bowl on my radio instead of watching it on TV. Kinda pissed at myself for that since it was the greatest comeback in Superbowl history but oh well... I'm over it.

A better question would be... Is Colon Kaperdink fit enough to be considered as an NFL Quarterback?

The answer to the question is likely no. The NFL doesn’t usually hire losers to play the most important position on the team. Could he be hired and trained to play some other position? Probably, but that would involve a lot of work. Under Kaperdink the Niners went from 1st in 2012, to 2nd in 2013, to 3rd in 2014 and 4th and last place in their division in 2015, 2016.

He’s already played in the NFL for 5 years and that’s probably 1 more year than the average player plays... And Kaperdink is an average player.

New England already has three QBs. That and Bill would not tolerate the non-game antics.

Whew! At least you didn’t say the guy that posted it.......... LOL! Just sayin’.

I'm confused by your post. Are you Dr. Tar? If so, you should have included a sarcasm tag in the article. :-) No offense intended if I missed the sarcasm.

IIRC the Niners succeeded in beating the Lambs last year. And nobody else.IMO he's well qualified to bag groceries at a PigglyWiggly.

The man is a publicity liability that costs far more than his draw. The cost of appeasing his fan base simply doesn't offset the hit to revenue from the loss of his detractors.

It's as most Freepers said when this whole thing started. Yeah the politics suck, but in the end the balance sheet will win.

I dunno... nobody would take Tim Tebow. Nobody would take Jeff George...

Plenty of WHITE QBs who only served one team, screwed up and were never rehired.

I don’t hear any complaints about the NFL being racist against them.

Is the entire NFL racist?

Absolutely! Perish the though of them letting a black man play football someday. The NFL is, and always will be a league for white players only. /sarcasm

As with the designated driver plan, which team will volunteer to be the designated loser and sign the guy?

He’s not good enough to justify the baggage he brings to the team. Simple as that.

Or, the starter or near-starter level salary he is reportedly demanding. He doesn't want backup bux.

“He just isn’t a very good QB.”

You are being generous.

What NFL owner is going to want to hire a guy who blows as a quarterback, brings controversy and notoriety to the team, and pisses off a majority of the fans?

This dude is a “Social Justice Warrior,” not a quarterback.

Skip Bayless and 100,000 Change.com signers are calling for a boycott of games this NFL season

Good I hope there is a boycott, that's what they get for injecting politics into sports. People watch games to escape all the bs for a brief time, not to be lectured to by Bayless or Kaepernick. Maybe revenues will drop enough that ESPN is forced to lay off a few people, they should start with Bayless.

Not many NFL contracts are guaranteed beyond signing bonuses. One of the few smart things CK did was to opt out early rather than have the team cut him just before the season when teams would already have their rosters set.

His contract was for $14.5 million this year, which the ‘49ers couldn’t afford for a part-time player. Unlike MLB and the NBA, NFL teams don’t have to cough up the money for bad decisions.

Libs want any person of color hired just because race is a factor and not ability.
