Ain’t that the truth! I read these silly comments and refrain from jumping in as it’s apparent they are doing the usual knee jerk thing. Where have the rational and logical posters gone? Jumping off the Trump train has to get exhausting! They’re on, they’re off and back again, gives me whip lash.

His first statement was appropriate. The latest was not.
I’d have liked to have seen him condemn Antifa by name and mention the fact that one of their thugs with a rap sheet punched a woman who
ignored his demands that she stop filming them. And also brought up the fact that most of the Leftist thugs were bused in by highly organized agitators.
Totally agree. He should have condemned them by name. He needs to instruct the FBI to interview all sides, not just ANTIFA punks, for what really happened.

Years of frustrations have built up and it’s quite tangible on FR. When I counsel patience, the retort invariably comes that they’ve waited long enough.
Well no they haven’t. Not till they have waited the wait that entails laying the burden square on God. And as the bible tells us, the government is one of His (limited) instruments. But God can turn the tables in other ways too.
We need to look at the Trump phenomenon as a whole, and beyond Trump (who is a sinner) to the sovereign God (who never sins).
I believe God set Trump up to be as good (but not perfect) as he is. Maybe he yields a bit under extreme pressure. God won’t. I think every demon in North America is charging at Donald Trump right now. Trump has still said enough of what is correct, that if all we have to complain about is the “tone” then maybe we are blessed indeed.
Anyhow, suppose this was full of Antifa and BLM. Before that, it’s full of Soros, who is full of Satan. Let’s see if something Donald sets in motion ends up with a nice package of gotcha on Soros’ doorstep that he can’t dodge. That’s as far as Donald can go on earth. We have to fight Satan by getting on our knees before God at His mercy seat. We can’t just toss Donald Trump over the transom to do it for us.
I think it could happen. God knows our weakness, that we sometimes need to actually watch Him act in the here and now, or we’d lose our faith altogether.
I beg God for signs, for many signs. Let’s beg Him for an entire Hollywood worth of neon signs, if that’s what it takes. He’ll stoop to our doubt, so that we may believe.

And by the way, we have to get out of our safe spaces here at FR. We complain enough about lefty snowflakes.
