Isn’t banning a group of People because of their personal or political beliefs sort of, you know, UNCONSTITUTIONAL?

I thought I was living in the United States of America, a Constitutional Republic.

Correct. Everyone has the right to be who they want or what they want - until they start forcing their behavior or opinions on others. Then it is an few individuals that need to be dealt with. Banning everything “for the good of society” is the same as no rights at all.
There are three hundred and twenty million people in this country - nobody has the right not to be offended.
