Coincidence? sabotage from within? sabotage from without?computer hack? deliberate ramming by the other vessel? Poor training and procedures? Any other possibilities that I’ve missed?
To add to that list, I’ll add something Sundance at Conservative Treehouse speculated about with the Fitzgerald accident. Is it possible that the Navy is training for or already actively involved in a boarding and/or blockading action which would require our ships to operate within closer than usual proximity to target vessels?
Very puzzling.
Boarding and blockade actions require you to be actually aware of the presence of other ships
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence and the third time is enemy action.
