Democrats do not WANT to understand Trump voters. First, the meme that he was “no conservative” came along, and all the while, persons who professed to be lifelong conservatives STILL were showing growing enthusiasm for the Trump Train. Then there was the charge he was a “dirty, lewd, crude, and to be thoroughly eschewed, old man”, and the Christian right evangelists were STILL not deterred. Then the charges of “stealing” the election with “collusion” with the Russians in some arcane and mysterious manner, and his supporters were even then not to be turned from their steadfast support.

Donald Trump was a phenomenon unlike any the American political scene has ever encountered. Part showman, part televangelist, part prophet, and ALL business, his charismatic appeal was undeniable, people either hated him on sight, or were overwhelmingly in support of him.

Those who hated him often had no reason they could articulate regarding their distrust or anxiety, and those few who could come with at least a partially plausible reason, all boiled down to one thing - they were intensely JEALOUS of the man’s success and the degree to which his boldness was rewarded time and time again.

Mark Twain once remarked, “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” In a similar manner, the failure and total collapse of the Trump World have been announced, sometimes with great relish and to the delight of his enemies, but every time, these reports were “greatly exaggerated”. The Trump Train is on track, and the old adage of “Lead, follow, or get the H*ll out of the way”, is true in a way that many still find not to be to their liking.

When you have areas where more than 100% of the voters vote, the dead voting, and the illegals voting, and out and out election officials pulling fast ones at times, who knows?

Probably he did win in a landslide if only legitimate votes were counted. So I don’t care if they say that. When the Dems focus on such trivial issues most people around here just tune them out.

The only thing that really matters is he won. They didn’t. The GOPe didn’t either so I don’t give a twit what either one thinks about landslides.

I do care that the GOP had 7 years to decide on their strategy regarding Obama care, and even passed a bill, knowing that it wouldn’t make it past the “ones” desk, and now that they have someone who will sign a bill to repeal, they go all wobbly and just can’t do it.

I also care that they have wasted all this time on Obama care when they need to get Trumps economic agenda done. The GOPe traitors need to go - they are swamp creatures. Vote them all out in the primariy, if they haven’t lived up to the promises they made.

Do you think the Ryan’s of the world understand that the “Vote for me, I’m one of you” shtick isn’t going to work. They have to know how hated they are, yet they persist.

Even if Breitbart were to do this (I highly doubt) then none of the GOP leadership will ever be taken seriously for high office. Right now if “Mitch” were running for Prez against Kamala.... Lesser of two evils doesn’t thrill me much anymore. Let Kamala just finish the destruction.

I don't think that's "jumping the shark". If President Trump doesn't stick to the Deplorable agenda, his supporters won't be as enthusiastic as necessary to defend him against the multiple sources out destroy his Presidency.

I'm not at all comfortable that there are NO Deplorables in the WH, except for Steve Miller who understands the agenda. (and I'm guessing he's not too thrilled about Trump having lashed out at AG Sessions). The Prince and Princess and their fellow traveler elitists are still there, however. That's an issue. In the primaries and in the election, one factor was people voting against dynasties.

Why doesn't he bring in some true Deplorables? Why doesn't he bring Mike Huckabee on board? And why the heck is he still trying to bring the press and the never-Trumpers around? It's a waste of time.

That noted here as well and duly attributed to the fact that PERHAPS he would have won in a landslide if not for the fact the d’rat party has managed to instigate voter fraud in the last ?? (how many elections?)

Meanwhile, we say a prayer of Thanksgiving and accept what was given US. No landslide, but a very wide, deep hole to collect all the garbage.

Of course his supporters would be less enthusiastic.

But this is a heck of lot different than saying you're going to help impeach the President. Saying this IS jumping the shark.

Why would I ever trust Breitbart again when they're promising to align with the Democrats and GOPe against the President? Who or what do they think they are?

Most deplorable are not too thrilled that he is still there. He more than anyone will be responsible for the destruction of this President. I am willing to believe he didn't plan this but stupidity is not a resume enhancer either.

The only thing that Democrats need to know about voters is that probably most voters have never been taught about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, including the fed’s limited power to appropriate taxes.

Although Trump is accomplishing a LOT as president, it remains that since the uniparty Congress wants to get rid of him that his first two years in office are arguably just practice. That being said ...

Drain the swamp sewer! Drain the sewer!

Remember in November 2018 !

Since corrupt Congress is the biggest part of the sewer (imo) that Trump wants to drain, it is actually up to patriots to drain the sewer in the 2018 elections, patriots supporting Trump by electing as many new members of Congress as they can who will support Trump.

In the meanwhile, patriots need to make sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting candidates on the primary ballots.

Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitution’s Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal government’s powers.

Patriots also need to make sure that candidates are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal government’s limited powers listed above.

Also, unlike incumbent members of Congress who wrongly remained silent while misguided state officials abridged the constitutionally enumerated rights of citizens during the lawless Obama Administration, patriots need to make sure that candidates on the 2018 primary ballots commit to the following.

Candidates need to commit to making and enforcing 14th Amendment-related laws to prosecute misguided state officials who use state powers to abridge constitutionally enumerated protections, 1st Amendment-protected religious expression and free speech for example, such actions prohibited by Section 1 of the 14th Amendment.

”14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

If we aren’t 100% enthusiastic, it’s the same as helping the forces that are doing everything they can to destroy the Trump presidency. Mygosh, look at the effort it took just to push back against the bad advice President Trump got, causing him to criticize AG Sessions!

The Democrats do not understand nor will they ever understand us "Deplorables" as their darling "Hillary" called us outload.

The Rat party is so convoluted that they do have the media since they have come up with new words to the Rat Agenda.

New words like "Investment" means more spending for the Rat party. Entilement programs means people are indeed entitled to food stams, welfare, housing, etc. etc.

We think that most Americans have caught on to the Rat agenda by now!

We have had the worst presidents in the history of our great nation in the past 28 years for crying out loud. The Pubbies never caught on except Newt Gingrich on the spending side of the equation. One of the main reasons we are in debt up to our eyeballs.

I teeter with agreement and disagreement.

I think we forget the task it takes to herd 240 cats, er Representatives that come from districts that vary greatly in conservativeness. We tend to view the majority as a monolithic group. They aren't. What you or I may want to see the House do is often very different than what the folks back home may want.

Same goes for McConnell in the Senate. His job is even tougher, for while many districts can be very conservative, many states are a huge blend of voters ranging from ultra liberal to very conservative. The needs and desires of Texas are very different than those of Maine or Ohio or Michigan. And I believe that's why you have very conservative Senators from Texas and moderate to liberal Senators from Maine and Ohio.

Frankly, even if Ryan or McConnell are weak leaders, the President should have enough capital and clout to lead and push through his agenda. Reagan even did it with the opposition party in control because of his gravitas. I really see this President trying to set things up for taking credit for the good and assigning the blame when it's bad.
