Personally, I think the forces of evil have learned how to hack the “Since” date.
There are lots of nicks supposedly dating from 1988 that I’ve never seen before, some of which post suspicious material.

Remember in the early days, there were what we called "sleeper nics" ( one poster, but one who somehow had managed to get a bunch of nics, for when they were in a "time out" [ remember when those were handed out? ] and/or banned ) and I had thought that the Robinsons had figured out a way to cull them. Now, I'm not so sure that they did.
