I hope 2018 will be a bloodbath for the Dems in Connecticut, too. I’d love to see the state senate (now tied 36-36), go R along with the Governor/Lt. Governor office. And maybe 2 house seats (CD-2 and CD-5).

Never mind a Democrat bloodbath. That headline alone, in their minds, validates/encourages the actions of all Republicans...including nevertrumpers.
It is the same story...large cities in Alabama (and the rest of the South) often have a high enough percentage of black voters to elect the mayor. Statewide is another story.
Joe Donnelly is already running ads. Like Evan he will run ads trying to make himself seem like he actually has midwestern values. His voting lockstep with whatever little Chuckie wants shows he is just a Dem puppet.
Democrats offering nothing but contrarianism, envy, dependency and fear. Not much of a platform if you are a rational human being.

I just don’t see the bloodbath everyone keeps talking about. The Republican congress has shown they are total liars and have pissed in the Wheaties time and again of their base which is boiling mad at their continued stabs in the back.
I look for the base to turn out to try and effect primaries but if the same old GOPE crowd is the candidates come November 2018 you are going to see a bloodbath in reverse, not because of Trump but because of the lies of the GOPE.
The Republicans will lose a ton of seats in the house and the senate is lost barely or stays static when they should pick up 6-8 seats. Mid-terms are when the bases of the parties come out and vote and the Republican base is pissed at the GOPE. They are not going to hold their noses and vote for this same pack of liars yet again. Sadly this will reflect in loses down ticket as well for the GOP. Thank you GOPE congress you lying, incompetent assclowns!

Things change quickly in politics, but at the moment the Dems getting all the ink and air time are statue-toppling lunatics who call everyone who begs to differ with them White Supremacists. Naturally I haven’t any numbers but common sense would dictate that this behavior is going to turn off a lot more people than it turns on. For one thing, anyone who thinks smothering the Southern states with political correctness is going to result in a gain for the SJW’s is smoking crack. We need to be careful with terms like “bloodbath” there because we might just be talking about the real thing if this wild hysteria keeps up.
