“The Left is getting armed again and I am honored to be a part of that,” said Mitchell Lewis of the Silver Valley chapter of Redneck Revolt in Davidson County, North Carolina who was in Charlottesville, Virginia carrying an AR-15 rifle against White Nationalist protestors.

The military is a cross-section of the nation. Granted, it doesn't follow direct percentages, but there is a sizeable portion of those on the left side of the spectrum in the military.
There's no doubt many of them had combat experience. Hell, look at a couple of the BLM radicals who opened fire on police recently, they were prior military, at least one USMC.
These may currently be isolated cases, but there's no doubt that a decent portion of these types of groups have had training, and real-world experience, provided by Uncle Sam.
Any indication that Soros is funding this?
I've heard speculation, but I have not heard of any proof. I think Soros is just stirring up the left, and some of them are smart enough to realize they need to realize they are going to need some armament if they are going to seriously challenge the right.
I actually don't think this is as bad of a situation as a lot of people will make it out to be. It has been my experience that becoming familiar with guns tends to move people to the right anyway. It actually deprives the left of an issue, and makes people wonder why all the leftest were screeching about guns in the fist place.
That leads people to think about the left being wrong about other things too.

Interesting fact, Democrat Rep. Yvette Clarke is currently leading the charge in removing Confederate monuments from Fort Hamilton. Maybe if she kept an eye on her own office rather than destroying American history, she might be better off.
