You are right. But today, there are not nearly enough.

Maybe it is a White Nationalist tenet to favor the hundreds of world class black artists of the 20th century(from Billie Holiday to Jimi Hendrix) over the Hip Hop culture of today.

Apparently there are deep fissures in the multicultural monarchy that is academia today.

Those fissures are most likely caused by these geniuses babbling nonsense at one another - garbage in, garbage out. I swear these people just try to string together a bunch of words that make them sound intelligent without ever actually checking the dictionary.

you mean like “intersectionality,” “discursive,” “prescriptive not normative,” “elder epistomologies,” and of course, “hegemonic.” I read this stuff for a living but I often wonder how many people would do so by choice...

Rhyming like a third-grader in a flat, monotone, nasal voice. At least The Beastie Boys had a little vocal range.

and young men of color who do not identify as Black

Ok this is a new one for me. Is there a bunch of dark hued youth sort of like Michael Jackson who want to be and identify themselves as fair skinned? If so this is the first I have heard about it.
