I usually fast-forward through commercials, but the ones I’ve seen either have gays, mixed-race couples, (almost always white female/black male,) or else it’s a white male being portrayed negatively, (either he’s a dumb doofus or else he’s a burglar breaking into black people’s houses on home security commercials.) Or else they’ll try to portray every race in the world within a 30-second ad. It’s like a game to spot them all. “There’s the black. There’s the Latino. What, no Asian? Oh, there he is.”

They say women make most of the buying decisions. Why advertisers think women will rush to buy a product after the commercial insulted their husbands, sons, brothers, dads and male friends is beyond me.

A firm going by the name BudgetBlinds was running ads with a pair of males reading a script that made them sound like worthless, mentally retarded pansies married to women that make outstanding decisions. I guarantee that I will NEVER purchase a product from that company or any other that uses that meme as an advertising construct.
