“Barefoot in the Park” is one of the worst movies ever made. I have to say that I never watched all of it, though. I also have to say that I saw what I did see of it on TV. It was horrible.
Barefoot in the Park is a good stage play. Neil Simon. He also wrote:

The Apartment
The Goodbye Girl
Lots of good stuff there if you like live, comedic theater.
I, too, can live without Fonda or Redford. Blech.
