Just came back from 8am Mass. No mention of National Day of Prayer, no mention of Texas, no mention of our President, First Lady & all the heroes, no mention of the biblical flood, no mention or plea for donations, clothing, food, prayers, volunteers, nothing, not a peep. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.
Sorry, but I just had to vent.

Understand. Makes me more thankful for the message of encouragement and Noah in Sunday School in our little church this morning . But even more greatful for our community
We joke that the benediction for many churches should be in the fried chicken aisle of the grocery store deli. This morning the most common comment was “AMEN to all of your prayers today”! A coming together of our small town

I know most of these people. (Their denominations and their political party.). Even with those differences the comments about GODs work usingThe first family and Texans was GREAT and POWERFUL

The message was heard here in Indiana. Amen to each of our prayers

My pastor did not know about the National Prayer Day either. Nor did we take up a special offering. Sigh. I wondered if it was a freeper secret

Maybe God is calling you out to a different part of His body?
