Ummm, didn’t the Temple worship end around 70AD with the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus; 1290 years would be a bit later than 693, more like 1360 AD....
Temple worship resumed after the captivity and was practiced until Israel/Judah was annihilated by Rome. Jesus’ passion/resurrection ended it spiritually, the Romans were the geopolitical entity that God used to end it physically.

Babylonian Exile, not the conquering of Israel by Rome. Judah came back after 70 years. The Northern Kingdom tribe were disbursed throughout the nations. After Alexander the Great many of the Jews became Hellenized. The Sadducees are an example of this Hellenization. They believed in the law only. They denied the resurrection of the dead, prophecy, and miracles.
