If you are retired you can not take a day off in the usual sense as you have to go to work to take a day off from retirement. You get no sick days and can not take a vacation form being retired.

reminds me. My father was a vet of WW II and never had vets day off. i on the other hand a slackard no account hippie always had the day off. no justice no rest
