Americans are used to cheap chicom tools, electronics, gadgets etc. for this to happen.
Our economy would tank like nothing we’ve ever seen.
If you think about it...we already have more than enough of that “stuff”. We are self sufficient in food and energy..we can do without Walmart “stuff” for a while. However, China has to import both and has no need of the “stuff” they sell us. Plus, can’t the rest of Asia step up production of “stuff” for us?
How can NOT BUYING imported goods tank an economy? Seem consumers would save a lot of money buy putting of spending while domestic suppliers come on line.
Nonsense, give a tax holiday to all the corporate money parked overseas and watch the economy grow without the import of Chinese crap. The one company that would be hurt is Apple which I am about done with. Their products might be first class but their politics suck.
