I love the “connection” that this obviously low IQ “writer” makes.
As is my usual claim, any mediocre STEM sophomore could argue any journalist into a corner regarding the shoddy practices of most so-called climate researchers.

Who knows maybe the eclipse had some effect, change in temperatures of tides and oceans and temperatures. Sun spots, too.
To think mankind had an effect is beyond arrogant.

Rush Limbaugh will be evacuating his home in Palm Beach, Fla. just days after stating that creating panic around hurricanes helps advance an agenda around climate change.
I’m confused as to the relevance the last half of the sentence has to the first half.
Did he leave in a panic? Does the fear mongerers try to creat panic around hurricanes to further their AGW agenda? Does that mean that if someone evacuates due to a real hurricane they are somehow vindicating the guys creating panic?
To: Sub-Driver
"after stating that creating panic around hurricanes helps advance an agenda around climate change." It does! That has nothing to do with the reality of the real dangers posed by hurricanes. He was referring to how the liberal media tries to get us to believe that hurricanes are caused by, or made worse by, supposed man-made global warning. Meanwhile we hadn't had very many hurricanes at all in the past 10 or so years.

Something tells me that Limbaugh did NOT call Irma itself a ploy.

The goal here is to drive Rush’s advertisers away from him. Won’t work though, the ones that still advertise on his show are run by conservatives well-versed in the methods of the Left.

This is why Rush no longer gives interviews.
All these media hacks have to do is read the friggin' transcripts off of his website. It's free.
All Rush said is that the media creates fear and panic among people because everything is politicized now. The original path of Irma had it bypassing FL and going back out to see. Mere hours later, it's supposed to hit FL dead-on and going up FL's gut. I still think it's going to cut between FL and Cuba and go into the Gulf.
Also Rush's point about how the Weather Channel shows the hurricane as this angry red blob scares people too.

I heard Limbaugh that day, and if I'm recalling correctly, Limbaugh said that there were runs on the store for water, batteries, food, when the storm
was still two weeks away.
That's the "panic" that Limbaugh was talking about.
He was saying that there was an unreasonable urgency when Irma was still in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. That's not to say that the urgency since Tuesday isn't justified, but it likely wasn't over last weekend and sooner.
I didn't listen to the show last week, because I was still home from Harvey watching the local coverage.
