Without the electoral college illegal votes could cancel the vote of someone else nationally. California counties that already have more registered voters than voting age people would suddenly explode with votes, 100% Democrat. The Democrats claim there is no voter fraud while they are all about fraud.
We should never get rid of it. We could never get rid of it without loosing the country.

Sadly, I think you are right. My father was at an assisted living facility; he grew up in Chicago. One of his caregivers was from the same neighborhood where he grew up.
She (an African-American) said she visits her parents in the now gang-infested area; she spends as little time there as possible. Her parents don't want to sell; they raised their children there (and probably wouldn't get much for their house).
They have invested a lot of money in security measures to protect themselves.
They are fine, upstanding people, but kind of stuck in a terrible neighborhood. They are literally afraid to go out after dark, to the grocery store or whatever. They can't live their lives anymore.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel (sp?) needs to get his head on straight.

It’s unforgivable that she hasn’t been locked up already. There are many crimes that can’t be proved yet, but there are many that can be proved. How is this America when normal people must pay the price, but the privileged are free to roam among us? How to you explain that to The Children and to other countries? It just isn’t right.
The Electoral College is the only thing standing between us and massive DemocRAT vote fraud. That is why Trump is president instead of Hillary Rotten Clinton because it negated the effect of millions of non-citizens voting in Kalifornia and other blue states.
No elimination of the EC should ever be considered unless a complete revamping of the election process is also included in the Constitutional amendment, and that would include photo ID in every state, regular and mandatory maintenance and purging of voter lists, hackproof voting systems with paper trails, and mandatory life sentences for illegal voting.
This, of course, will never happen.
We need the EC now more than ever.

If voting is fair, he will get more votes. I hope Chris Kobach is working 24/7 to get a handle on the voter fraud issue. We know “they” are honing their methods to bugger up the 2020 election. They won’t stop.
