It depends on what is in the bill. If they are given permanent residency, and told they can apply for citizenship in ten years, that would be very different from immediate citizenship.
DACA only gives them work permits.
They won’t become citizens and won’t vote (legally).
Enough to win all future elections national and local.

The only place DACA could negatively affect the country is with Texas. They want to put another 800k in blue states let them. What Trump just did with this was box in Establishment republicans. They now have nothing o run on. This opens up the freedom Caucus to field candidates to primary RINO’s.

You are right. That’s the number they’re going with, although when they go with rounded numbers like this, it’s a pretty good indication they have no idea how many, or are trying to hide the actual number.

I’d also guess that there are a lot of unresolved or unfiled cases leading to that round number. DACA requires that you be brought here before 2007 but many don’t find out they aren’t legal until high school graduation so that number will grow.
But that 30million number people are bouncing around is 1 in 10 Americans.
All of them.
That is why the Democrats are supporting this program.
