When he was at CBO, he fancied himself the smartest guy in the room whether he knew about the subject or not, and a massive control freak, or so I was told by a friend that worked there.

He's married with a couple of kids and his wife was an Obama appoint Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy and Chief Economist of the United States Department of the Treasury.
