(CNN) When Donald Trump found out that a special counsel had been appointed to investigate Russia's involvement in the 2016 election, the President went off.
This, from the New York Times, is stunning:
"Almost immediately, Mr. Trump lobbed a volley of insults at Mr. Sessions, telling the attorney general it was his fault they were in the current situation. Mr. Trump told Mr. Sessions that choosing him to be attorney general was one of the worst decisions he had made, called him an 'idiot,' and said that he should resign."
Making the episode all the more painful? Trump and Sessions weren't alone in the meeting. Vice President Mike Pence, White House counsel Don McGahn and several other aides were present, according to the Times report.
This temper tantrum from Trump is not an isolated incident. Far from it.
Trump fumed backstage before his Phoenix campaign rally last month as TV cameras showed a less-than-full arena. George Gigicos, who was handling the advance work for the event, was let go as a result of Trump's displeasure.
Earlier that month, Trump had -- stunningly -- doubled down on his "both sides" comments about the white supremacist violence in Charlottesville, a decision, according to Politico, "driven in part by his own anger -- and his disdain for being told what to do."

Can't say I blame him.
Do I have to say, FAKE NEWS??
From the previous thread, half of FR is happy to believe garbage like this. Which is exactly why the NYT, Wapo, CNN, etc put it out - “Resist” is now “Divide and Conquer”.
Yet not a word over all her years in front of the public about Hillary’s frequent meltdowns, her forbidding staff to have camera-phones around her...
REALLY.....if these media low life buffoons, only truly knew and understood how the vast majority of Americans hate them with a passion.!!! End of story!!!
There’s somebody else in politics with a temper. Help my memory out: Didn’t Bill Clinton once have a gash on his face or forehead as if something had been thrown at him?
CNN, the fame news network, is just trying to deflect attention away from Hillary’s temper tantrums she’s throwing lately.
Trump, his family and anyone near him is being fed through a legal meat grinder by Mueller and his Rat mercenaries because of Sessions. I don’t blame Trump one bit. What l don’t understand is why he didn’t/doesn’t fire Rosenstein.
And once, Bill Clinton tackled Dick Morris to the ground. Nixon pushed his press secretary in full view of the media and LBJ had a terrible temper. It’s a high stress job.
Old news, probably fake news. They’re running out of nasty smears....this is recycled from weeks ago.
If Trump were a volcano then CNN would be a ant hill.
Rosenstein was the U.S. Attorney for the Maryland district, and was one of many U.S. Attorneys who submitted their resignations early this year at the request of AG Jeff Sessions. This is basically routine when a new administration comes into office. President Trump rejected Rosenstein's resignation.
If we've gotten to September 2017 and both Sessions and Rosenstein are still in place, then I can only conclude that we are looking at this situation far differently that what it really is.
I assume that every word of this excretion from CNN is false ...
Volcanic temper? Just ask people who crossed Lyndon Johnson.
They’re so worried that Trump is being lauded by the American people for his reaction to Hurricane victims they need to throw some grenades...fake news at its finest...
Reading Rosenstein’s bio:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Rosenstein
I’d like to understand just what in his past experience or performance made him other than highly qualified?
And until Mueller’s report comes out, who can say what will be in it?
Gotta have something to counter the daily Hillary Hatefest, which shows disdain and contempt for each and every person who did not vote her.
If it’s not on tape....didn’t happen...
