You have a point, I misread that it was creditkarma offering the free service, which I’m sure has some value to them in any case. I won’t let Equifax off the hook at all.

Equifax is offering a free one-year subscription to their credit monitoring service (Trusted ID Premier) for all three major bureaus plus a copy of your Equifax credit report for people who may have been affected.
