A True FReeper Tale regarding one of tonight’s music choices.
Many years ago, I hung out with some older songwriters, and we jammed and told stories about our experiences in the music business.
Hugo and Luigi were a few years older than I was, and they told me that they had written a song for Elvis.
Well, I had written a lot of songs too, some of which had had the rights to perform purchased by some famous people, so I just smiled and let my friend reminisce about “a song they wrote for Elvis” (Yeah...OK)
Years later, long after my friends had passed away, I got a special request for a famous Elvis song for a wedding. I looked it up, and here’s what I found:

And there were the composers: Hugo and Luigi!
So, the song they wrote for Elvis was perhaps the most well known and beloved one he had ever sang.
