California's attorney general plans to file a lawsuit on Wednesday challenging President Donald Trump's plan to construct a wall along the border with Mexico, the state AG's office said, adding to the obstacles facing a key Trump campaign promise.
The border wall lawsuit set to be filed on Wednesday will allege that Trump's wall violates federal environmental standards, as well as constitutional provisions regarding the separation of powers and states' rights.

Yeah, I agree and I live in-state.
My leaders are some of the biggest bozo fruit loops known to man.
Maybe we build two walls. One would run east to west and the other south to north.
“Someone just needs to get around to declaring that CA is in a state of insurrection...”
As a “real” Californian, not some Commie creep who’s migrated here from the Northeast $hithole States, I would welcome the Feds coming in and taking charge of Sacramento. The sooner the better!
We need to kick CA out of the union. #CALGONE
How about we build a wall on the borders of California.
“Didnt Arnold claim in 2003 when he was running that it was the federal governments job to deal with illegal immigration?”
I am surprised Ahnold took the time to “pull out of his maid” long enough to say anything.
Jeff Sessions is a nice old guy, and the absolute worst, most ineffective AG, I have ever seen.
He's not going to do a damn thing about a damn thing.
The same way we will for the Southern border.
Building one around a state of the union, that is still a state of the union, would be a bad idea. The separatist message to other states would be destructive to the union.
Folks, unless we want to become Europe with a bunch of small nation-states, we better be careful what we sign on to.
We have the budget for a strong national defense becasue we are 330 million people strong.
Start chopping that up, and soon your a 75 million nation weak.
The funding wouldn’t be there to pay down the debt, finance our military, and a few other important things.
Hard to claim States Rights issue after 8 years of Queen Putts Regime pounding Immigration is a Federal Issue.

Moreover, every issue from health care to defining marriage to the environment has been shifted to the authority of the federal government. The Leftists have undermined the very foundation upon which they now wish to stand.
Hmmmm, didn’t think of that. ;)
Time to break California into 5 states, one where the Democrat areas are all together and then split the interior Republican areas into 4 states. Clearly they are out of control. Or just let them go their own way.
If California doesn’t want the wall, then make them pay for the length of wall that skirts all of their border with the rest of the U.S. They can be part of Mexico instead.
Yeah, we’ll even BBQ up some tri-tips Santa Maria style
for the Fed boys. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the ice
chests. Line forms on Capitol Mall.
Translation: Some liberal state will file yet another lawsuit to oppose something Trump does in order to confirm and demonstrate that the real rulers of this country are liberal, black robbed dictators and a nameless faceless deep state.
They’ll get a 3-6 month delay out of this move.
That’s it.
Then they’ll have to try to come up with something else.

That is exactly how they will get this blocked.
Sessions is missing. Body around but brain left Earth.
Being a person who lives in California, I don’t want my home state butchered.
There has been no effort whatsoever to reclaim the state from Leftists.
It’s like the state and national Republican leaders are embarrassed to be Conservative Republicans.
