What word would you prefer to describe those who promote hatred of Jewish people other than bigot? Racist hardly applies since there are Jews of many races. Antisemitic is too general, because it technically includes non-jews.

Well, the meaning of the word "bigot" is someone who is intolerant of any belief or opinion other than his own. However, to be fair to you, I looked up the word on a couple of dictionary sites and they are starting to use the new definition, which is a person who hates other races, ethnicities, etc.

My question is this: why do we need a special word for someone that hates Jews, when we can simply say "He hates Jews?" This creation of a label for people who think a certain way, and then attaching a stigma to that label, is exactly the game the Marxists like to play. They control people's behavior with simple labels, like "racist", "homophobe", "islamophobe", and "transphobe". There are a lot of people out there who are afraid to say anything critical of the homosexual lifestyle simply because the Left created a word, "homophobia" and then attached a severe stigma to it so they could wield it like a weapon against anyone who would disagree with something like "gay marriage". And it works. By God does it work.

They also will simultaneously remove words from the language that reflect negatively on people or ideas they want to protect. For example, I'm sure you've noticed that they are fighting tooth and nail to remove the term "illegal alien" from the English language (in a very Orwellian fashion) so that we have no negative way to describe such a person. In fact, if you try to criticize the level of illegal immigration and its effect on our country, they will unload all their weaponized labels at you: "bigot" "racist" "xenophobe" in order to control you. Worse yet, they want to get you to restrict your own thinking, like a dog with a shock collar. "I'd better not criticize this particular group of people - I'll be a bigot!"

If someone blames Jews for everything, then that person simply blames Jews for everything. If that person hates Jews, then they hate Jews. Needing to assign a label that dehumanizes that person and invalidates everything they think and believe is an Orwellian thought-crime game that the Left has us all playing. Never play the enemy's game. You can demand that he play by his own rules (Alinsky) but never limit yourself to playing by the enemy's rules.
