My theory is that the Obama Administration crapped in their pants on election night, when, instead of a nice glide slope into a friendly transition to a Hillary Clinton presidency, they realized they had to figuratively, fill the burn bags and deep six a lot of evidence.
With regard to Powers, I would build an intervention model with a binary field (coded 0=before election, 1=post election) and look at the time plot of Powers’ requests. You would then know the significance of before election/ after election, and I bet it is huge. It’s just unbelievable that as they go out the door, they would pay such close attention to this set of subjects, who coincidentally happen to be in the orbit of the apposition party’s successful candidate.
I agree. I feel like just from everything we have found out so far, like Powers unmasking, there was way too much criminal activity on record to keep hidden unless Clinton won. Once she didn’t everything became a hail Mary pass to somehow nullify the Trump administration from revealing and prosecuting some very high level crooks.
I think the evidence is waiting there, maybe already found and it’s just a matter of Trump deciding when to time it’s release and take steps to prosecute. Sessions not withstanding. He might be a wuss but I can’t see Trump letting this slide. Especially as more revelations like Powers come out.
