I see a lot of major highway construction all over the Midwest. I don’t see so much in the Chicago area these days. Seems like last months news included work stoppages because Chicago had bankrupted the state or something similar.

Most "infrastructure" spending should be considered routine maintenance. Lots of orange barrels all around Cleveland area, but then they are around every summer without fail. No crisis, just keeping up. As for new rail projects in Phoenix of all places, fine, let McCain pay for it.
