27 players and staff took a knee this morning from the Jaguars and Ravens. Most ever in one game.

And the NFL doubles down on Dixie Chicking...

Nice thing about the Dixie Chicks is now they volunteer to bus tables if you'll book their act.

pretty masterful trap that trump has set, and sprung. nfl players were never known for being brilliant, but this is just off-the-charts stupid

Dunning-Kruger effect, herd instinct version.

“Im gonna be racist and ask if there are any white guys doing this?”

Yes, some white players will disrespect the flag. And some black players will stand and respect the flag.

This is not racial. This is liberal vs those that want to preserve our flag and the Republic for which it stands.

This is dumb vs smart.

This is weak core values vs strong core values.

I based my comment on an article I read saying that sales of Ex-Lax and Tide with Bleach quadrupled the week of November 6th in blue states. (just don’t ask me for a link)

Mr. Sam Nails it.

Evidently, team owners believe that this will attract more people than it will repel.

I studied under a wise old marketing professor who, based on 30+ years of industry consulting, will tell them how very wrong they are.

I support anyone’s right to take a knee ...

BUT, NOT ON THE EMPLOYER’S TIME !!!

When at practice or on the field, players are EMPLOYEES. If their behavior is hurting the product being sold, they should be dismissed.

Fans should vote with their wallets and not attend games. They also shouldn’t watch on tv. As ad and attendance revenue decrease, the owners will have to make a decision.

Support the players and lose cash or BOOT THEIR ASSES OFF THE FIELD !!!

You Sir, are making the kind of sacrifice this nation needs more of. In support, I will cut up my wifes as well. (Not really; i’m a little scared of her). But YOU Sir, i heartily support.

Wonder what the reaction of players, press, fans, the public would be if when players did this; a Catholic priest wearing the collar grabbed a microphone and led the Kneeling in prayer?

Sounds like something "The Pope" would do.

Easy to tune out and turn them off.

Easier for me since I got sick of these over paid prima donnas a LONG time ago.

If most of them couldn’t carry a foot ball they would be digging ditches or trying to be on welfare.

Tune out, turn off it won’t take long for the money to stop flowing. Don’t want this gang back ever though at any price. There are plenty of others.

Watch what happens in basketball this season. They are losers as well.

I have much better things to do than watch sports on TV. Surely other people can find something more useful and enjoyable to do.

If the fans that go to the stadium and watch the game would boo them or get up and leave, eventually they would stop. If the fans don’t, then I consider them a accomplice, and they have the right to “protest”, as I have the right to never buy a product with any football emblem on it.

I live in Baltimore and have bet on this game. I watched the anthems and my wife remarked at how stupid these overpaid babies are to stand for the Brit anthem when the Brits were the primary enablers of slavery in the US. It is doubly gratifying to see the Ravens getting poleaxed by a team that is lucky to win 3 games a season. Karma for the urban lesion that bred the nickel bag junkie Freddy Gray whose death was a cause celebre for the BLMers and other similar faeces bag organizations. Go Jags.

I’ll not watch NFL, nevery have. Don’t like to wast time like that and consider the players nothing but a bunch of over paid thugs.

That said. I’d rather they express their true feelings so I can confirm who the enemy is instead of them being snakes in the grass.

Don’t need them but they need us to pay for all their indulgences. Is it really worth all it costs people to pay for them to live lives most could never dream of? Who are the chumps?

It starts with one knee, then two and one bows to subjugation. I am utterly speechless at where we are.

Why? More Jags bent the knee than Ravens, or at least as many did (esp. from the players themselves). One Raven still had a hand on his heart! (My nephew says it’s more anti-Trump than BLM; with the hand-heart maybe that’s true.)

Not too sure about an owner whose name is “Shahid Khan”. Yikes. That’s new to me.

what the reaction of players, press, fans, the public would be

My opinion? It would be mixed. The players and press would all become instant "catholics" the SJ "catholics" would take a knee, and the fans would be all over the map.

The real Catholics could go either way.

I will not be watching any games today. I will not be buying any tickets for the forseeable future, not until this silliness is put to a stop by the NFL.
