The article states they are down 10%. Considering they were already down last year it could be that ratings are down 20 - 25% from the good years.
It needs to go lower.
The professional athletes have money, they have access to sponsors that have more money. They have personal relationships with important and influential people. If this is really about issues they more than anyone have access to what it takes to solve issues or at least help. Why aren’t they out there in their free time making a difference?
Instead they promote hatred of our country, our flag, our anthem. This is what tells me it is not about any burning issue they have. What they are doing is attacking most Americans- who were their fans when they started all this.

Revenue is an important number but profit is even more so and it falls much faster than revenues. The NFL has outlays that will be painful and take time to reduce: salaries, contracts, pension funding, mortgages, etc. that will take time to reduce. Believe me a 10% revenue drop this year for the NFL will wipe out profits. A lot of marginal teams will suffer.
Furthermore I think President Trump should order the DoD to stop any new advertising campaigns with the NFL,!to cancel any existing advertising campaigns that can be canceled without penalty, and prevent any active duty service men and women from participating in military ceremonies and Jet fly-bys until the NFL management no longer attacks America.
Make no mistake, if the 32 NFL team owners were not on board with BLM these stupid protests never would have started as Colon Caperdick would have been fired the first time he took a knee.

Football used to be an escape for guys from politics. It was almost an exclusively male domain.
But the Leftists gained control and have used it to advance their agenda and tried to market the game more for women. They’ve turned it into just another celebrity show, with the halftime shows.

That is within his authority as Commander-in-Chief. It also makes sense; the military uses that advertising for recruiting. If the viewership shifts to people we don't want in our military, then the advertising dollars should also shift.
If they say 10% probably more like 20%. They lie.

My daughter and son-in-law are coming to visit from Australia, and he wanted to see a Redskin's game. I wrote back, since you do not live here and only get your news from the MSM, you cannot appreciate what's really going on with the NFL. Although American football may be exotic to you, no, you do not want to see a Redskin's game. He took me at my word and has chosen to see a hockey game instead.
