Trump isn’t going to lose face, it is a deep Red State.

“Donald will lose face and the lib-scum will gloat. Wake up Donald...ooops too late.”

No way. He never loses face. When the situation changes, he just tweets out a new message appropriate for the new reality. There, all fixed.

Remember back in the primaries when he was constantly bad mouthing China for being a currency manipulator, ripping us off? Then later, debating Clinton, he wanted to show how well he would get along with China, get them to help with NK, create US jobs, and otherwise cooperate? Trump simply did an unapologetic about face and began saying good things about China.

The media and Clinton tried to call him out for being inconsistent: “But you said they were currency manipulators, ripping us off!”

He simply said “China is no longer a currency manipulator ripping us off. They are just smarter at making deals than our people. When I’m president, we will have smart people making deals.” And with that statement and a wave of his hand, he redefined his message.

This is what Trump does - and for a non-politician, he’s quite nimble at it.

I think as it turns out, politics is a lot like negotiating business deals. Trump was a lot better prepared for this job than many people gave him credit for. He’s a natural.

After Moore wins, he will find a way to let people know he is happy with that outcome, while simultaneously showing loyally to Strange, who will be in office until January voting in support of Trump’s agenda. So, regardless of the outcome, he has deftly earned the support of both Moore and Strange.

Moore seems to understand this maneuver. I see no signs from Moore, Bannon, Ingragam, or any of the many conservative Moore supporters that Trump’s nominal support of Strange bothers them one whit. In fact, they go out of their way (even Moore himself) to say the opposite, that they remain 100% behind Trump.
