That's fine with me. Let them continue their disdain out of the halls of Congress. They can look down their noses at the hoi polloi and enjoy their $300 chardonnay and French brie. They just won't be in power any more.

That is why it doesn’t matter how principled the candidates we choose and how many of them. Once they get to Congress they learn immediately how the world of wealth works and join the Establishment. They do not have to worry about re-election because so long as they play the game they will be be wealthy for life with one term or with ten.If they do not play the game vast amounts of money are put in play to cost them re-election and there are no lucrative sinecures awaiting them.
