Why not go back to baseball? I left over interleague play, but Little League has been good for my son, and it is as American as hot dogs, apple pie and Ford.
Of course it is rugby. The best competitive action sport ever.

Football has flaws that were already making it unwatchable - too many commercials, transforming into touch football, and routinely running over 3.5 hours to watch less than 15 minutes of actual play, for starters.
I say Lacrosse!
After all, it’s the native American sport.
Plus, it’s a blast to play. It can be fun to watch too.

As a baseball family......I agree with you Dr. Sivana! I am hoping and praying this idiocracy that has taken over the NFL does not make it into my beloved MLB. Hopefully, the MLB commissioner has been watching what is going on and will nip it in the bud before any more than that one idiotic ball player destroys this sport we love.

You get 60 minutes of play. The clock doesn’t continue to run while the players are walking back and huddling up and walking to the line.
Actual time of play in an NFL game (snap to whistle) is around 15 minutes.
And the players stand while we the fans sing the National Anthem! Sometimes we sing the Canadian Anthem too! As do the Canadian fans for ours!
For that reason alone, I might actually watch another NFL game if you told me that the roster was filled with players from Japan and Latin America.
I apologize; I stand corrected. I hope the rest of the country follows Texas’ lead and focus on that instead. I always enjoyed watching my children’s soccer games, especially when they reached junior high and it was very similar to a “real” game.
....Or how about tag football?

How about rodeo? Only using Congress critters in place of the four-footed variety?
