What I heard from President Trump is that this tax reform will be great for business and middle America...

The main thing is to get the economy moving.

Private sector investment (in the absence of government subsidies, etc.) leads the way to jobs, superior consumer products and, eventually, increased government tax revenues.

Those who are concerned about the deficit should focus on government spending. How much does the federal government spend to subsidize left-wing indoctrination in colleges and universities? How much does the federal government send to sanctuary cities and states that operate in defiance of federal immigration laws? Why spend on NPR, PBS, Planned Parenthood? Disaster relief aside, the government should freeze spending, on it’s way to reducing spending.

Reuters is the last gasp effort by a gang of fascist Brits to keep alive Hitler’s Ministry of Propaganda.

I realize this is a preliminary plan, but as it stands, it does NOTHING for me.

Trump didn’t get elected for tax reform, this is Paul Ryan’s issue.

You have to laugh at Democrats crying about deficits.

Ok, so this sounds better. So tax cuts on corporations AND small and medium business. No mention of a tax increase for the lowest bracket that was talked about before?

Still don't like raising the deductions which creates a population of more takers. So that IS the tax cut for the lowest bracket then, just a raise in deductions?

Trump likes it. The evil chamber of commerce likes it. Its been passed back and forth with Republicans for a few months. So how the hell can it fail to get through the GOP Senate for God’s sake?

Well, we know McCain is a knee jerk “No” vote.

Still it would be tempting to send an FU to silicon valley with a special tax on technology firms.

No it doesn’t.

2% of absolute income against an increase of progressive income for double the deduction.

F*^(K, that don’t read wright...

It works out mathematically and I’ll try to get around to demonstrating the numbers later...
