Since their docks are apparently nonfunctional, how does this help them?

Thought I heard yesterday they were back on line. Is there maybe back up power of some sort there? Fuel for trucks to move the supplies? What a mess huh?

It doesn't - but it shut up the leftist whiners on that topic... so they can go on to the next thing.

Simply to shut up the opposition. I predict it won’t have much of any real effect.

This seems to indicate that ports have been sufficiently cleared

Because it gets McCain and "Trump hates Latinos" off the air for a few hours. Otherwise it accomplishes nothing. This is how our "free press" screws the nation with its lies.

Coast guard reported both PR and VI docks open a few days ago. They did an amazing job. Some with restrictions, but functional.

Problem is that the materials can’t get off the docks as they haven’t been able to restore power and clear streets to other area from the docks yet.

It doesn't. But it's more of a symbolic gesture to shut the Libs up.

Exactly - Trump will probably use this to make his point that it would not help anyone - except a few flying foreign flags on their ships....

I would suggest that provision for only one foreign flagged RO RO vessel could make a very significant difference. It could be loaded and unloaded quickly for turnaround.
