It seems like there are 2 different humanitarian crises in Puerto Rico. There’s the one which has the Democrat (Progressive) governor complementing President Trump and the Federal response, and then there’s another one, which has the mayor of San Juan crying in the media, claiming the government isn’t doing anything, demanding more from President Trump, all that.
And we know which version plays in the media. It’s not the one that has the governor praising the Trump administration.
So, who is this mayor?
Carmen Yulín Cruz is a Bernie Sanders socialist, favored by the Revolution. She has taken credit for Obama’s release of a Puerto Rico nationalist terror bomber. She is demanding “Medicare for Everyone”, an end to PR’s state debt obligations, a $15 an hour minimum wage, and who claims the U S has “colonized” Puerto Rico.
Gee, I wonder if she has an agenda beyond the hurricane rescue and recovery efforts. Do you think she wants the governor’s job?
Naw, no chance of that.
Meanwhile, Mayor Cruz is the big star. Governor Rosello is an after thought.
As Rahm Emanuel, Democrat mayor of Chicago, said when he worked for Obama “You never let a serious crisis go to waste.”

Yes.
Then statehood.
Then the US presidency, once PR is a state, she's more Constitutionally qualified than obama was.
