I don;t know why we even have them as a territory since they like to come over here, fly their flag, speak their language.
The only exemption should be if they want to serve in the military , and then can apply to stay here. Similar to what the Gurkha’s do with the British Army.
I agree. They are a foreign country under our protectorate similar to Guam. They are absolutely not “Americans” as I define the Term any more than a Mexican is an “American” . They spent themselves into bankrupcy and now want your money to bail them out. Im ready for them to boot strap themselves sand move on.
Yes, since they voted not to be a state, give them their independance or return them to Spain. We don’t need them to serve as a coaling station anymore.
