I think damage has been done. Players could march on field with flags in hand, etc. I don’t think it wins many of the fans back...

This accomplishes two things.

1-Admission by the networks that the protests are not popular and bad for business. This is a defensive move

2-It drastically limits the audience of the protest just the 40,000 fans at the game and from the upper deck, likely not visible to many.

My theory is that teams that have protesters, lose their games. Miami, Baltimore, Cleleveland, Oakland. It is divisive and polarizes the team.

Maybe I should just assume that some of the players are being rude and disrespectful. That is what I did today.

I learned later that although the Kneelers, err Steelers behaved themselves, some of the Ravens still wanted to play SJW. Sorry CBS, sucks to be youze guyz.
