There were two rooms, and now that that’s confirmed in the media, I can tell you that the southernmost shooting position is outside of the main suite. At your link, the fifth image is a floor plan.

Only one window faces due east, southeast corner of master bedroom.

Helicopter and other daylight shots confirm that the southernmost,shooting position is 7 windows south of the transition between east facing and northeast facing walls. That places it outside the large suite, and this news story confirms Paddock had booked two rooms:
