Of course, insurance agents and Christians, too, sometimes consider the weather “an act of God.”

Insurance agents consider EVERYTHING an 'Act of God'.

Insurance agent: Your is covered for EVERYTHING except 'Acts of God', wars, riots, insurrections and revolutions.

Homeowner: What are 'Acts of God'? Insurance Agent: Tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, hailstorms, thunderstorms, high winds, meteors, comets, firestorms, earthquakes, volcanoes and sinkholes. Homeowner: Just what AM I COVERED FOR? Insurance Agent: Everything else........................

It is not insurance agents but lawyers and the courts that use the term “Act of God” in determining potential responsibility.

Insurance liability is just one item in which the “Act of God” principle may be relevant.
