OMG
I might add that Don Meredith and Howard Cosell were like Blue State vs Red State and had a great dynamic. I don’t think politics was ever overt but I do remember when Cosell was criticized for calling someone a “little monkey”.
That was ex-WVU’er Danny Biggs that Cosell was talking about.
There was a brief but load uproar over it, but I think people realize it was Cosell being Cosell.
Biggs = Buggs
“Howard, Dandy Don and Frank”
They were the best.
I thought it was Alvin Garret.
If they do any shenanigans tonight after the tragedy in Las Vegas they are really going to hurt their cause of anti-police and pro-thugdom.
I seem to remember it being Danny Buggs. WVU alumni like myself kind of took it personal.
So how many players spit on the fans, the flag, the anthem, the soldiers, and the dead for tonight’s game? Does anybody know?
One of Howard Cosell’s greatest lines during the Alabama vs. Notre Dame national championship game.
“At Notre Dame, football is a religion. In Alabama, it’s a way of life.”
These players are less than dogs...even dogs know you don’t zhit where you eat.....
The Anthem is sometimes broadcast with nationally televised regular season games and especially during the playoffs which start today. I will be watching to see which players don’t stand and hope the miscreants are not on my team.
I only saw one defensive back for KC. The rest stood yet not all had their helmet in their left hand and their right hand over their heart.
