I am a self-employed industry analyst in high tech and I visit Free Republic every day after I read what President Trump has to say. FR is a great community of intelligent patriots!

Born and raised on Cape Cod, I spent 9 years in the peacetime Navy (San Diego, Hawaii, Japan), and returned to live in the Boston area.  From there we moved to the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. For five years we lived in Athens, Georgia, home of the Dawgs. And in 2022, we sold our house and 98% of our belongings to move to Japan where we are on a 5-year residency visa.

I enjoy contributing vanities and creating memes.  And in November 2019 I created the freeper.org where you can access my FR vanities and freely download, distribute, or post the memes I made since I joined FR in late 2015.  Here's the homepage:

Shall I compare Free Republic to a summer’s day?
Thy Rascal Writers are more fiery and intemperate.
Rough winds do swirl the Snowflakes of January,
And November’s lease on Victory hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of Fake News shines,
And often is Freedom’s complexion dimmed;
And every Founding Fathers’ Creed sometime declines,
By Fraud, or Corruption’s changing course, untrimmed;
But FR’s eternal commentary shall not fade,
Nor Patriots lose possession of the Rights they’re ow’st,
Nor shall Censorship brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
While thy eternal posts to Freedom cause the Internet to Shake.

So long as Self-Reliance breathes, and Justice Sings.
