I’m curious what new law(s) involving guns or not would prevent a psychopathic maniac from committing mass murder. How many laws did the Vegas shooter break in committing this act of pure evil. I think the list would be quite extensive.
It’s not a question of the law on the books, it’s a question of whether or not the law can be practically enforced. If someone like this evil man simply planned it out in advance, and it’s obvious that he planned and carried it out to great detail. He couldn’t and wouldn’t be stopped by cops or security. That’s a fact. Sure, Chicago has great gun control laws, but the enforcement is next to useless in stopping the flow of illegal guns within the city. Banning guns in the U.S. would be an awful logistical nightmare given all the hidden guns and criminals who still get away with somehow just possession of illegal firearms. Let’s not even get into crooked cops or crooked military veterans providing criminals with a means to build the parts and the guns.
